Here's the next installment of "Clear Waters" (Juniper River). You can see that I've painted in the water in the background so that I can then layer the palm fronds over it. Still lots to do! Some important details starting to emerge, but still working on layering from background to forground and defining light and dark areas. Someone had better let me know if they're interested in this or I'll give up on the idea!!
Please, don't stop your great installments of works in progress and interesting descriptions of how you do what you do. Be patient. Most people are shy about asking questions or commenting on an artist's work, but once the ice is broken, it will be another successful "build-it-and-they-will-come" story. My question: anybody out there now ready be Follower #2? Jeanette, why not offer a 15% discount on one of your giclee prints to the next five Followers who sign up! BTW, contratulations on your 1st place prize in the national Utrecht Painting Competition.
